A Roundup of the Kreaverse

Two weeks into 2026 and we are pumped up. In anticipation of everything the year brings to the fore and on the front foot for the inevitable challenges the turn of time brings with it. These are times of renewal, change and growth and we are ready. In a few days, the campus will be back in full frenzy with classes, sessions, academic and social events, brand new projects and an entire set of cohorts nearing their well deserved University conclusion, the graduation. And we are here, together, raring to go.

The Convocation Ceremony 2026 will be held in Chennai on Saturday, 13 June 2026, from 2.00 pm onwards, at The Music Academy, TTK Road, Chennai. The Hon’ble Dr Justice D Y Chandrachud will be the commencement speaker and preside as the Chief Guest for the event. More details will follow. Please block your calendars.

Epsilon India Math Camp 2026
|
The Epsilon India Math Camp is back for its 2026 edition. The camp is a collaboration between Epsilon India, Raising a Mathematician Foundation (RAM) and Krea University. This residential Mathematics summer camp is aimed at extraordinary Math geniuses aged 9-13 years and will run from 3-17 May 2026 at the Krea University campus. The application deadline is 2 February 2026.

A research paper titled Effect of confinement on PH3 and OH3+ inversion, co-authored by SIAS faculty Dr Brijesh Kumar Mishra, Associate Professor, Chemistry, and Professor S Sivakumar, Professor, Physics and Dean – Research, along with SIAS alumni Kaustav Mehta, Shreya Chidambaram, and Netra Krishna, has recently been published in the scientific journal Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (PCCP).
