Krea, this Week

23- 29 August 2025

A Roundup of the Kreaverse

The overarching theme for this edition of our weekly dispatch is research. The constant companion in Krea’s pursuit to dig deep and deliberate on elements critical to the world we inhabit. As an institution that empowers young students to question the status quo and tackle novel and unscripted challenges, research plays a critical role in the very art of learning itself. Be it our centres, in pursuit of answers with the sole focus on impact-led research, our faculty members in the process of discovering new knowledge with their meticulous approach through methodological and systematic research, or our students honing research skills to contribute right from their undergraduate years, the wheels are turning rapidly and how. Here’s to another week teeming with possibilities in the world of learning, teaching, and research.

Behavioural and Neuroimaging Lab

The Behavioural and Neuroimaging Lab established by the Psychology Department, School of Interwoven Arts and Sciences (SIAS) was inaugurated on 22 August 2025.

The lab is designed as a unique space to bridge research and teaching, enabling students to experience the rigour of experimental design, engage with cutting-edge methods, and contribute to insights that matter beyond the classroom.

For the research community, the lab provides a platform to deepen inquiry into human development, cognition, and behaviour. For students, it builds a foundation of skills and scientific thinking that will shape their journey as psychologists, researchers, and practitioners.
