Join Rahul Soni, an experienced editor and publishing professional, in an interactive session with Prajwal Parajuly, Assistant Professor of Practice, Creative Writing, SIAS. The conversation will explore the craft of editing, practical insights into the publishing industry, and career pathways for aspiring editors.

 The talk is mandatory for students of LITT 335 Editing and Publishing.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Rahul Soni is a writer, editor, and translator based in India. He serves as an Editor-at-Large
with HarperCollins Publishers India and is a founding editor of South Parade, a print-only journal of literature from the Global South. Since joining HarperCollins in 2017, Rahul has acquired and edited books that have become among the country’s best-selling and most acclaimed literary works. His editorial projects have won major Indian awards and been shortlisted for international honors, including the Booker Prize, the JCB Prize for Literature, the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature, and the Pulitzer Prize.
