What is psychoanalysis as a praxis? How does it differ from other approaches toward understanding the human condition? Why do we claim that psychoanalysis is possibly the only discipline that springs from a kernel, on the one hand, radical and on the other, dangerous? The history of psychoanalysis is the history of struggle, in the same way Marx claimed that the history of humanity is the history of class struggle.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dorotea Pospihalj is a psychoanalyst and her research is focusing on the relation or rather non-relation between psychoanalysis, philosophy and politics under the PhD title 'Psychoanalysis as the Dialectic of the Negative', which through the testimony of the clinic, and a radical political procedure formalizes a new epistemology of psychoanalysis.
