A Round-up of the Kreaverse

It’s already August and there’s a lot happening around us – both within and beyond the Kreaverse. There’s a lot of noise in the world around Artificial Intelligence (AI), and it’s no surprise that its presence has rapidly permeated the educational landscape as well. Even so, the Kreaverse continues to be a space where original ideas, authentic thinking, and meaningful conversations thrive. This is reflected in the richness of student experiences, the diversity of campus activities, the depth of research our community engages in, and the collaborative spirit that drives events, dialogues, and everyday interactions in classrooms. As a community, we will navigate every challenge together; with curiosity, creativity, and care.

If you have stories or news to share with the Krea community, we invite you to connect with us at all.commsteam@krea.edu.in

Club Rush

On 26 July 2025, the first floor of the JSW academic building came alive with music, performances, posters, and open invitations. It was time for Club Rush, our annual introduction to the many student-run clubs and societies that shape campus life.

Every club brought something unique to the table. From games to corners, quizzes, karaokes and even science experiments, it was a vibrant mix of everything that makes SIAS campus life what it is. First-years had the chance to meet members, ask questions, attend mini-events, and most importantly, find the spaces where they felt seen and inspired. Freshers, keep an eye out for auditions and club meetings.

Layam Open Mic

The SIAS Music Club hosted its first open mic of the year on 29 July 2025 in SH3, one of the campus’s most beloved performing spaces. For first-years, it was a chance to perform for the first time and see what it feels like to be part of the music scene at SIAS. For seniors, it was a return to a familiar space. The open mic doubled as an introduction to the club.

Dance Fusion

On 28 July 2025, Mudra, the SIAS Dance Club, presented their dance prowess in an exciting introductory showcase, aptly titled Dance Fuzion. The event featured performances from both the Indian and non-Indian wings of the club, as well as the competitive crews — Mukti (Indian) and TBD (non-Indian). Each performance brought something unique to the stage, giving the audience a glimpse into the range of styles and energy that make up Mudra.
