Fireside Chats is a series of informal yet structured conversations between a guest and a moderator. This talk is organised by the Office of Inclusive Learning Support in collaboration with Centre for Writing and Pedagogy, Krea University. The series features speakers from various walks of life, offering informative and engaging perspectives. Set in a more casual format, the conversations aim to foster open, transparent discussions for the audience to enjoy.
ABOUT PROFESSOR APARNA VAIDIK
Professor Aparna Vaidik teaches at Ashoka University and has previously taught at Georgetown University, Washington DC, and the University of Delhi. She holds degrees from St. Stephen’s College, Cambridge University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her most recent book is Revolutionaries on Trial (2024). She is also the author of Waiting for Swaraj, My Son's Inheritance, and Imperial Andamans. She has received research grants from the British Academy, Andrew Mellon Foundation, Indian Council for Historical Research, and Charles Wallace India Trust.
