A Talk on "Where AI Detectors Fail: Tell-Tale Signs of AI-use in Student Writing"
ABOUT THE TALK
In light of overwhelming generative AI-use by students to outsource their reading-writing work and the continued unreliability of automated tools to detect such use, this workshop will reflect on possible tell-tale signs of AI-use in student writing. More importantly, acknowledging the constantly evolving nature of generative AI, this session is imagined as a collaborative space for Krea colleagues to come together and discuss effective classroom practices to negotiate the shifting terrains of knowledge work in the age of AI.
