Literary agent Jérôme Bouchaud will be in conversation with Prajwal Parajuly, Assistant Professor of Practice, Creative Writing, SIAS on the state of publishing in the 21st century.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Jérôme Bouchaud is a literary agent with the Astier-Pécher Literary Agency, based in Paris. He handles the agency’s translation rights and represents authors whose works have a connection with Asia. He is the founder of Éditions Jentayu, a publishing house dedicated to translating Asian literature into French language. His latest publications include a novel from Mongolia, a poetry collection from Tibet, and an anthology of stories and poems by Uyghur writers. He was Frankfurt Book Fair Fellow in 2019, a Rights Ambassador at the ARF-Kuala Lumpur in 2023, and a Tutor for the Literary Agent Laboratory Program held this year in Jakarta.
