This lecture will provide an overview of global refugee challenges and an in depth look at the founding of RefugePoint, an organisation that works across the world to provide solutions for refugees. The discussion will also explore moral decision points that can shape and change our lives, drawing from Sasha Chanoff's book, From Crisis to Calling: Finding Your Moral Center in the Toughest Decisions. The speaker has proposed some guiding points and questions to frame the discussion: Who is a refugee? What are the biggest challenges they face? How did moral leadership contribute to the founding of RefugePoint? How can one deepen a sense of the moral self, and tune into core values when confronted with hard decisions.
